Using composite resin (tooth-colored putty), cosmetic bonding can repair chipped, cracked, misshapen, gapped, and discolored teeth in a single appointment. Bonding can even be used as an alternative to orthodontic treatment assuming there are no significant issues with teeth or jaw alignment.
Our dentists will start by using a shade guide to determine which color of resin will match your natural enamel best. The surface of your tooth will then be etched, and a light layer of conditioning liquid will be applied to create a strong bond for the resin. We’ll then mold and shape the composite resin onto the tooth and harden it with an LED light.
